Readdressing the topic of eating disorders
Tuesday, September 29th, 2009For three years, I ran a website called The Disordered Times, which was about news relating to eating disorders. I stopped adding new stuff to it when I realized that keeping tabs on eating disorders was actually hampering my own recovery, keeping my mind focused on the topic and therefore unable to focus on other things.
The last few months have been a wonderful and much-needed break from the topic, but I’m ready – at least occasionally – to say more on the issue. I will periodically contribute to Rachel Richardson’s site, The F-Word, and link to posts there when I write something about eating disorders. That said, have a look at my first contribution. Thoughts?
