I spent most of the day doing things related to my handmade bath and body product business, Char's Golden Goods. As a one-woman show, I do everything from developing new products, to promoting them, and shipping them out to customers. Starting up a business like this isn't easy and it takes time to really generate a customer base, but my goal is to earn a steady part-time income within a year of starting the business. Running a business has been a learning curve for me; I hit the books and learned as much as possible early on, but I've learned some things as they've come. That's okay. It's a process where I am *always* learning something new and I embrace that.
The soaps you see in the pic are cafe mocha coffee bars. They're made in layers, and once cooled, I drizzle just a little bit of shea butter soap on top. I clean up the sides, package them, and send them on their way to give your shower a little pick-me-up aroma. Head on over to my shop if you want one; I also offer vanilla latte and almond latte scents, plus a whole variety of other scents and products. It would be a pleasure to make you something you'll love.
