I can finally scratch Griffith Observatory off my "Things to Do/See in L.A." bucket list, because that's where we went today. We parked at The Greek and hiked up to the observatory for a bit of exercise. The observatory itself, as well as the view overlooking the city, was gorgeous. Admission to the observatory is free and you'll learn all sorts of cool facts about the cosmos. When you're in the main lobby, look up. The artwork on the ceiling is beautiful. Outside, you can cool off with the sea breeze and enjoy the view of the downtown skyline, as well as the Hollywood sign. All in all, this was a cool day and I'll definitely go back. This is a must-see if you visit L.A.
