In Los Angeles, summer weather means sunny skies and hot temperatures for months on end. Variation from this norm is unusual. Sometimes it's even welcome. And today was one of those days where (gasp) clouds took over the sky and even threatened a thunderstorm this afternoon. We got a little bit of rain and a couple rumbles of thunder, but it was all short-lived. It was still more than what we usually get at this time of year, though, so I am grateful. I love it when it rains here.
