In case you've been living under a rock, The Great American Eclipse happened today. It was kind of a big deal. People traveled from all over to be in the path of full totality — one place of which was my hometown, Casper, WY. For those of us in SoCal, the effect of the eclipse was much less pronounced. I thought that at the very least, we'd see some reduction in overall light, but that wasn't so. That was a shame because that was going to be my photoblog before and after shot for today, but you can't see any difference in the photos I took! Thankfully, Patrick saved my butt and took these cool photos of shadowplay during and after the eclipse. It's the one memento we have of the occasion.
