Aside from family and a handful of friends still there, one of the few things left in Casper I still care about is Java Jitters Espresso. I worked there off and on for over a decade, ranging from when I was fresh out of high school to when Patrick and I left for Fargo at the end of 2011. It was my second home, my second family, through thick and thin. And whenever I'm back in town, the first thing on my agenda after arrival is a delicious brew at Java. I absolutely loved the opportunity to catch up with Adam, Alex, and Sharon on this trip. And thanks, Adam, for being a good sport and letting me take photos while you were busy cranking out the drinks.
If you're in Casper and looking for a unique coffee experience, give the Sol Luna at Java Jitters a try. Not only is it tasty, but it's metaphorical in its design, meant to mimic the total solar eclipse that'll happen on August 21. Casper is directly in its path, and the city (and its people) are expecting the place to be completely overrun with visitors for the occasion.
